God’s Plan for Sharing is being unpacked over the months of January and February, with full integration starting in March. Just what is GPS? It is the over-arching name for the large-scale outreach effort happening here at FFC, and across North America, that culminates on Easter Sunday (April 4, 2010). Most of the GPS experience will take place through our Lighthouses, so if is crucial that every LH leader, host and attender be “up to speed” by the end of February. Pastor Todd strongly encourages each person at FFC to attend one of the training times so that you and your Lighthouse are best prepared to share Jesus relationally and effectively.
Pastor Todd is looking to assemble a team of writers who would be willing to work on developing study guides and Bible studies that correlate with upcoming series. These would be primarily used by our Lighthouses. If you have a lot of desire and even a little ability, call our office at 965-8300 or email Pastor Todd at teaching@firstfamilyministries.com and he will send additional information for you to consider.
Deepen your understanding of sound doctrine by engaging in this study of crucial truths. Core doctrines concerning God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, angels, heaven, hell, and the church are just some of the topics that will be understood from a wholly biblical perspective. Consider it seminary in street clothes!
Cost: $0
Have you been biblically baptized?
At First Family, we belive the Bible teaches that baptism is by immersion, an act of obedience to God, and follows believing in Jesus Christ. In fact, throughout Scriptures this is always the order: belief, then baptism. Baptism is a biblical way to obey God, as well as demonstrate to the church your commitment to Christ. First Family's next baptismal opportunity is February 28. If you are interested in being baptized and would like more information, please contact our office at 965-8300.

GO Trip: Manti, Utah
One of First Family’s Global Outreach trips this year will be to Manti, Utah, June 14-20. During this time of year, many Mormons gather in Manti for an annual celebration at their temple. This is a great opportunity to engage them and share the Gospel. The deadline to sign up for this GO trip is Feb. 14. Training sessions will begin on Feb. 21. For more info or to sign up, Tome Urband at trurban@mchsi.com.
