The Purpose
To provide financially to those who cannot afford what is reasonably needed for their service to the Lord.
The Reason – Acts 2:44-47
All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Guidelines for First Family Benevolence
FFC sets aside finances in order to help our members in time of need. These monies are distributed through our deacons. If help is needed, contact can be made through our church office, your Lighthouse, your Lighthouse Elder, or even via a feedback card. However, our deacons, once aware of the need, will contact you for more information and insight, and are authorized to carry that process to its completion.
